🍔 Porn Is a Cheap Knockoff

It looks like steak, but it’s really dollar-menu mystery meat.

1 Corinthians 6:18

— “Run from sexual sin! … A sexual sin is against your own body.

Reflect on this

Porn is the fast food of intimacy. Quick. Cheap. Always available. And just like fast food, it feels good going down—but leaves you bloated, guilty, and wondering why you did it again.

That Big Mac moment hits—salty, greasy, satisfying. But an hour later? You’re sluggish, your stomach’s wrecked, and you’re already craving more junk. That’s how porn works. The dopamine hit tricks you into thinking you’ve had a meal, but your soul is still starving.

Here’s the truth:

  • Fast food fills your belly, but wrecks your body.

  • Porn fills your screen, but wrecks your soul.

  • Both leave you hooked on something that will never make you strong.

God designed sex like a feast—nutritious, life-giving, covenant fuel inside marriage. Porn is a knockoff drive-thru pretending to be fine dining. It gives you calories without nourishment, appetite without fulfillment, and addiction without intimacy.

The culture calls it normal. God calls it a lie. And just like fast food every day will kill your body, porn every day will kill your spirit.

Take Action

Ask yourself:

  • Am I settling for junk food when God designed me for a feast?

  • How often am I trading short-term satisfaction for long-term strength?

  • Who can I invite into my battle so I don’t keep eating in secret?

Closing Declaration

I’m done feeding on junk. I was made for more than knockoffs—I’ll wait for the feast God designed.
